Altoona Premier of the Motion Picture GHOSTS: The Musical Announced – 1/24/2011 P&J Productions and the Blair County Arts Foundation announced plans to premier GHOSTS: The Musical on April 7, 2011 in the Historic Mishler Theatre, Altoona, PA. The Mishler Theatre served as the primary location for the movie’s filming and production and was the inspiration behind William Allen Jones’ show. GHOSTS: The Musical a Winner at Accolade Film Festival – 12/14/2010 The motion picture GHOSTS: The Musical recently won the Award of Merit from the Accolade Film Festival in LaJolla, CA.

GHOSTS: The Musical to be performed at the University of Texas at Tyler – 9/1/2010 The University of Texas at Tyler School of Performing Arts will present the Midwest premier of William Allen Jones’ GHOSTS: The Musical, Dr. Molly Johnson, director of opera and music theater, announced. Three performances at the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30; and 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.

Feature Film of GHOSTS: The Musical in Post-production – 3/15/2010 Principal cinematography has been completed on the film version of GHOSTS: The Musical and the project has now entered post-production under the supervision of directors Cory Jones and Sam Wagner. The film is set to be released to independent film festivals in the Fall of 2010 with a public premier sometime in the Spring of 2011.

Principal Filming begins for GHOSTS: The Musical – 1/11/10 Production has begun on the full-length feature film version of GHOSTS: The Musical. Directors Cory Jones and Sam Wagner, along with the cast and crew, are shooting on location in the Historic Mishler Theatre, Altoona, PA. Completion of the film is expected by Summer, 2010.

Plans for a Full-Length Feature Film version of GHOSTS: The Musical Announced – 12/18/2009 P&J Productions has announced plans to film a full-length independent feature film version of William Allen Jones’ GHOSTS: The Musical. Neil Port of P&J Productions, made the announcement at the Altoona City Council Meeting at the request of Mayor Wayne Hippo. Filming will begin in January, 2010. The film is being directed by Cory Jones and Sam Wagner and will star Megan Marcaurelle and Rachel Volpe. The movie is being produced by Footbridge Films, the independent film branch of P&J Productions.
